Exam cancelled

I was supposed to start my exam yesterday, but since I sliced off a bit of my thumb while slicing a carrot for dinner on a mandolin on sunday that did not happen. Instead I had to drive myself to the emergency to see if they could help me but there was nothing they could do.  Once something is sliced off there is nothing to sew together.  It wasn’t a huge bit, just a piece of the finger nail and a bit underneath it so now I can’t sew at all. Don’t know when I will do my exam or what I will do with my last 3 weeks as a tailor student. Time will tell. On the bright side, spring is on its way!
