4th fitting

Had the 4th fitting last week. Keep forgetting to take a photo of the suit on Robert. It would have been much easier for you to follow the fit and alterations with a picture and not only my description of how it looks :).
Now the armholes were lowered enough, still need some cutting out from shoulderpoint as the arms stick out a bit. The neck will be made a bit narrower to prevent the suit to slip down. Front side seam will be taken in a bit and that’s all until 5th fitting.
I can see now that the original plan with a standard size suit moderated to fit Robert and a fully tailored as the next won’t work. All the fittings are crucial to make the fit work. Instead I will be able to start with the 2nd suit on the moderated Robert pattern when all changes are satisfactory. Hopefully the pattern will fit the next fabric as well. It doesn’t vary too much in quality but we’ll se. Just because the pattern fit once does not necessarily mean it will fit perfect the next time as well.
